Peanut Butter and Jelly… In a Cup!

imageTODAY’S BREAKFAST:
“Peanut butter and Jelly” protein shake!

This is SOOOOO GOOD!!! And both of my kids divoured it!

Ingredients:
1 cup milk (I chose almond milk)
1 banana
1/4 cup nut butter (I used PB Fit powder instead)
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1-2 cups frozen berries
1-2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup oats (for a more smooth texture, cook them first… I do not mind them uncooked)
Honey to taste (I used local honey to help with seasonal allergies)

Blend…and… ENJOY! 👌🏼

Stay healthy,

Say, “Bye Bye” to Store-Bought Granola Bars

Our healthy alternative to store-bought granola bars!

Banana Oat Energy Bites found at:
http://tiphero.com/banana-oat-energy-bites/

Our modification: I double the recipe because we eat them too quickly! I used honey from a local farm to help with allergies, and I also used organic peanut butter I found at Aldis that is crunchy and has flax seeds and chia seeds in it! It gives it more definition and makes the bites more crunchy 😁

ENJOY!image

There are beans in your brownies?!

Black bean brownies anyone? 🙌🏼👌🏼 #delicious

These are so delicious and don’t make me feel guilty after eating them like I do when I eat a regular brownie!  I definitely recommend them! I opted to use coconut oil as my oil choice and they turned out great!  I also used fresh black beans that I made for our dinner the night before and made extra for this recipe since they take so long to cook
